How do we work with you?

Classic Draperies make it easy; we bring the showroom to your home. Just call and make an appointment. Bill Piper will personal visit and listen to your needs, take you through your choices, and ensure that everything you order perfectly complements your home décor and meets your functional needs.

How and when do I pay?

It is customary to pay a deposit on all custom-made products at the time you place your order. When the project is fully installed, and you are satisfied with your purchase, the remaining balance is due.

Do you offer a more complete selection?

Yes, Classic Draperies offer the full selection of JC Window Fashions custom window coverings, so you can find exactly what you want for your home. This includes all the very newest products, colors and fabrics that JC Window Fashions occasionally adds to keep up with design trends, color changes and consumer wishes. We also carry the exclusive custom wood shutters.

Why we do the measuring?

Window fashions are more complex than you might think. Classic Draperies knows how to ask the right questions to make sure your window treatments function for optimal performance and ease of use. With many window fashions, exact (and knowledgeable) measuring and installation are critical, especially for inside mount situations and especially with hard, fitted products such as shutters. A measuring job done inaccurately can cost you lots of money if window fashions don’t fit correctly. In addition, many homes have imperfections in window shape or protrusions that an expert installer can address up front to prevent window treatment problems later.

How long does it take?

That depends on what products you order. All of our products are custom made to your exact specifications, and some take longer than others to produce and ship to us. Once you place your order, and estimate can be given. Classic Draperies will keep you informed every step of the way so you know what to expect about the installation date. Time Frame Examples: Blinds; 1 to 1 1/2 weeks, Draperies; 2 to 3 weeks, Shutters; 3 to 4 weeks.
